(Oct. 22, 2009) The junior varsity boys soccer team scored four times in the first half en route to the shutout victory at Sturgis last Wednesday, 7-0.
With the win, the Whalers improved to a perfect 6-0 overall this season.

“I like what I see out of the group in general. They give a great effort every game and lots of hustle. There are some skilled players that are definitely going to be varsity contributors in years to come,” said varsity boys soccer head coach Rich Brannigan, who filled in for JV head coach Kevin Korn last week.

The Whalers took advantage of corner play opportunities in the first half to take the early lead over the Storm.
