Boys basketball falls in tight game to league-leading CCA

(Jan. 24, 2013) The boys varsity basketball team played just once this week, losing 69-61 Monday at home in a close game to league leader Cape Cod Academy. On Saturday the Whalers were supposed to play Hull, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather.

The Whalers (5-5, 4-3 Cape & Islands League) were scheduled to host Mashpee last night, too late for this edition of Sports, before traveling to O’Bryant Saturday and hosting league foe Pope John Paul II Tuesday.
