Whalers split pair of non-league games

(Dec. 27, 2012) The boy’s varsity basketball team split a pair of non-league games last week, beating Upper Cape Cod 60-54 on the road last Wednesday, before falling prey to a well-disciplined O’Bryant team 63-53 Saturday at home.

The Whalers (3-2, 2-0 Cape & Islands League) are in the midst of a two-week break before they are scheduled to take on league rival Pope John Paul II road Friday, Jan. 4, and face Sturgis East for the second time this season Tuesday, Jan. 8.
