Boys lacrosse drops opener

(April 4, 2013) With thunderstorms rumbling above, the boys varsity lacrosse team fell to the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans 15-5 in its opening game of the season Monday on the road.

The 0-1 Whalers are scheduled to host Nauset Saturday and New Bedford Monday before hitting the road Wednesday to face Barnstable.

The Whalers started strong Monday, as junior Zac Von Kampen opened the scoring against the Trojans off an assist from junior Bryan Depass.
