Boys lacrosse beats Dennis-Yarmouth in five overtimes

(April 17, 2014) Coming into Monday’s game against Dennis-Yarmouth with two straight losses, the boys varsity lacrosse team was looking for a big road win. They got it, but not until Bryan Depass found the back of the net in the fifth overtime to give the Whalers the 8-7 victory.

Nantucket (3-2, 1-2 Maritime League) also lost 11-6 to Barnstable at home last Wednesday, and 19-5 to Bridgewater- Raynham on the road Friday. The Whalers are scheduled to travel to Pope John Paul II today, before hosting the Lions next Wednesday.
