(Sept. 19, 2013) The boys varsity soccer team lost its first game of the season 3-0 on the road to Archbishop Williams before rebounding with a 9-1 shellacking of Cape Cod Academy at home on Tuesday.

The Whalers jumped all over CCA from the opening kickoff. Nantucket scored three times in the first seven minutes and added the fourth goal in the 13th minute.

“I was glad to see the guys scoring early and setting the tone,” head coach Rich Brannigan said.
