(Oct. 4, 2012) It was a game they were supposed to win – and they did, in a big way. The varsity field hockey team took care of Brockton by a score of 10-3 at home Saturday.
“We were playing against a lesser opponent, but they had to work on certain things and I think they did,” head coach Lori Moran said of her team. “They worked on spacing with the forwards on their breakout. We break out well when we can get past that first line of defense. We do have the speed in the forward line to get out there. It’s really that to make those one or two passes to get us that breakout.”
