(Dec. 30, 2009) Cruising through the early part of the season, the girls varsity basketball team hit a major stumbling block in the Cohasset Tournament Monday night, falling to the host team 57-21.
While the final score was cer tainly disappointing, the outcome wasn’t completely unexpected, and head coach Chris “Willis” Ferreira was already looking ahead to yesterday’s second-round game against Hull, too late for this edition of The Inquirer and Mirror.
The Whalers, now 2-1, also fell to Cohasset last season, 64- 41 in the 2008 holiday tournament.
