(May 2, 2013) The girls varsity lacrosse team notched its first win of the season last Wednesday, breezing past Sturgis West 17-3 at home. But the team came out flat in its next game, a 7-4 road loss to Falmouth Academy last Thursday, before rebounding with its best effort of the season, a 6-6 tie against Bridgewater-Raynham Friday.

“They came out ready to go, and we could feel their intensity before the game, which I honestly think makes all the difference in the world. They played together as a team and it’s just the best I’ve seen them play yet, all together,” head coach Zoe Tasch said of the tie against the Trojans.
