(March 28, 2013) The varsity softball team is looking to dominate the Cape & Islands League again this season and make another run deep into the Div. 3 playoffs.

But the Whalers will have to do it without star pitcher Ashley Wilson, who after a stellar sophomore season last year is now attending Northfield Mount Hermon in Gill, Mass.

Head coach Chris Maury’s team is nonetheless stocked with returning and new talent, led by Mackenzie Holdgate, Mikayla Molta and Madison Duce at the top of the order.
