Field hockey looking to advance

Always in the playoff mix, the varsity field hockey team is hoping that a tough out-of-conference schedule this season will help prepare it for a postseason run that extends beyond the first round.

 

Girls soccer picking up the pace

At the beginning of each season head coach Jorge Rojas comes up with an overall theme for the girls varsity soccer team. Last year the Whalers showed they belonged on the same field as many of the top programs in the area, so this year, Rojas wants them to increase the tempo.
