Girls soccer shuts out P-Town

The girls varsity soccer team scored a shutout victory over Lighthouse Conference opponent Provincetown last Wednesday, 6-0 on the road.


The Whalers squad, which improved to 2-3 overall, had two games postponed this week. Saturday’s game against Norwood at home was postponed until Saturday, Oct. 25 due to inclement weather and Monday’s game at Abington was postponed due to field conditions following the weekend rains. No make-up date has been announced.


Nantucket seems to have found a rhythm over the last week of games with a dominating victory over New Testament and a close game against Cape Cod Academy leading up to the Provincetown match.
